Villa Taticchi was founded and developed around the guardhouse of a 14th-century medieval tower, built to defend the Tiber Valley from invaders, once the domain of Benedictine monks.

The Reasturant
The Villa Taticchi restaurant offers a very interesting menu, made exclusively with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The dishes are complemented by an equally interesting wine list, which emphasizes small, easy-drinking wines from small wineries.

The villa, which has always been the setting for family parties and banquets given its distinct vocation, was opened to the public in 1988 as a farmhouse and then subsequently also as a restaurant and rooms in 2018.

With a long history in hospitality and catering, this beautiful medieval villa will welcome you with the warmth of a home from home. The owners have lived in this magical place for seven generations, and every corner, every book in the precious library, bears witness to this. The Taticchi family will take care of welcoming you: Novello and Francesca (brother and sister), and Maria Fulvia (Francesca’s daughter), as well as our always attentive staff.
